Services & Prices

A regular grooming schedule helps keep your pet clean and smelling fresh, but it’s not only for appearances. Consistent grooming helps reduce shedding and dander, prevents painful matting and skin infections and can even help to detect signs of health problems early, before they become more serious.

You only want the best possible team to help you to keep your pet healthy and looking their best, and it's a job we take seriously. The A Pet Spa difference lies in the trained eye and health-focused approach that our professional groomers bring to every session. What separates us from the rest is not only our attention to detail, but our ability to spot potential health problems early.

During every grooming session we examine for:

Allergic reactions or changes to the skin and coat

Lumps or bumps that may warrant vet attention

Ear and teeth problems that could become infections

Nail issues that could affect mobility

Walk-in nail trimming services

Walk-in Services

Nail trimming & filing while you wait!

Tuesday-Saturday

9AM-4PM

All other services by appointment only.

  • We do not rush your pet through the process! We ask for up to 4 hours with your pet. Groups of dogs, or extra hairy dogs (such as long coated Huskies or Samoyeds) may take more time.
  • Every pet is bathed twice, and then conditioned,  using only high quality products specifically chosen for your pets skin and coat type. A medicated shampoo package and all-inclusive luxury Spa Package is also available.
  • Ear cleaning and nail trimming is always included with any bath or groom package. Nail filing can be added for an additional $5.
  • Ear plucking and gland expression are done by request at no additional cost. Why do we only do glands and ear plucking on request? Some veterinarians recommend against expressing anal glands or plucking hair unnecessarily. But if you, or your vet think its in your pet's best interest to have those services done, just let us know!

Getting your puppy accustomed to grooming at a young age is a crucial step to helping create a confident and socialized adult dog. Routine grooming for puppies helps acclimate them to new sounds, sensations and handling to prevent the development of fear or anxiety associated not only with grooming, but also vet visits and public outings.

We recommend booking your first puppy intro around 12 weeks of age, or after your puppy receives their second round of vaccines. Most puppies will require 1-3 into sessions before comfortably getting a full haircut.

While your puppy cant see a professional before 12 weeks, you can actually begin acclimating your puppy to grooming as soon as you bring them home! Introducing your puppy to gentle brushing and combing at home can start immediately and is a great way to bond with your new best friend.

What is a puppy intro?

  • Our 3 step shampoo and conditioning process, using puppy-safe shampoo

  • Gentle fluff dry

  • An introduction to all our combs, clippers and brushes by trimming all the area's listed below, under Tidy.

See Tidy menu below for puppy intro prices

While regular grooming is important for dogs of all ages, it can become even more  necessary as your pet ages. Regular coat maintenance and nail trimming is detrimental to keeping a happy and comfortable senior pet. Regular grooming routines can also transition into recognizing potential health issues your pet is facing, as underlying issues can often be revealed by changes to the skin and coat.

There's no doubt that doodles are some of the greatest dogs around, but maintaining their coats can be a ton of work! Doodle hair can be extra difficult to maintain because it contains both poodle and double coat types. Due to their combination coats, hair's become tangled very easily and frequent (often daily) grooming is required to keep your four-legged best friend free of matting and skin problems.

We recommend that every doodle be on a 4 week grooming schedule for optimum skin and coat care. Most of our clients alternate between a 'Full Groom' and a 'Tidy'.

Is your cat leaving hair all over the back of your couch? What about throwing up hairballs on your rug? It sounds like your cat may need some grooming help! The biggest myth among feline owners is that cats are entirely self-cleaning animals. The truth is, cats need help maintaining those beautiful coats, with some long coated breeds requiring daily brushing at home, as well as regular help from a professional groomer.

While cats are vigorously cleaning themselves for hours a day, their tongues are unable to clean every part of their bodies, and even the shortest haired cats can struggle to clean themselves all the way down to the skin. This is especially true for seniors and cats that have become overweight. Overly greasy or dandruffy coats can become tangled, quickly becoming tight matting that can become painful for your cat.  Excessive shedding can mean your cat is consuming large amounts of dead undercoat and cannot digest the hair. Resulting in vomiting up hairballs and even lethargy. These are problems easily solved with regular professional grooming.

A well groomed cat is a happy cat.
